Our remote lodge is located on the upper Humber, southeast of Gros Morne National Park, and July is the best time to fish at this location.  We have a range of trips from a 1 day to a 6 day stay at “Nine Reef Lodge”.  Clients can get there by float fishing in water masters-ATV or fly in. 

The 2 and 3 day float trips are very nice and can be mixed into a 6 day fishing package including time on other Regional rivers or the lower Humber.

From the 15th of July to the end of August the lower Humber has a steady flow of big fish running into the river.  The lower Humber is world renowned and has been recognized for its salmon in the 20-50lbs. range.  These monsters can be seen lying on shoals all over the river in late July and August.  During this time anglers are more likely to hook a 15lb fish than a grilse.  20lb fish are more common.
